Interconnection

To interconnect with Frontier, you must first enter into an Interconnection agreement. Complete and submit the Interconnection Agreement Information Request Form. An interconnection manager will provide you with a draft interconnection document and begin the negotiations process.

Existing 251-252 Interconnection Agreements, within their initial term and available for adoption, are available from the individual state commission websites. Please Note: Interconnection agreements in California, Nevada, and New Mexico are available from the Interconnection page.

In order to interconnect with Frontier you must be an interconnected VoIP provider. Please visit the FCC website for more information.

An Interconnected VoIP provider may interconnect with Frontier by submitting an Interconnected VoIP Agreement Information Request Form.

A 251-252 Interconnection Agreement is required before negotiating a Wholesale Advantage Agreement. To request UNEs or Local Wholesale services from Frontier, you must first interconnect with Frontier. A 251-252 Interconnection Agreement is required before submitting a regulated collocation application. West Virginia has instituted a statewide Broadband Infrastructure Project plan to bring high-speed Internet access to this vastly under served region. This will be done by expanding the state’s existing microwave public safety network and adding about 600 miles of fiber. Frontier is participating in this effort and additional information is available here.

Approval from the state Public Utilities Commission is required where you want to resell services. The approval will include a Certificate of Operating Authority. For state-by-state Commission contacts, please visit the NARUC website.
