If you have 200 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 1 Gig or 2 Gig internet, you’ll need to return the extra devices you received when you purchased Whole-Home Wi-Fi, but you need to keep the main eero router you received when you signed up for your internet plan.
Here’s an example:
When you ordered Fiber 1 Gig internet and Whole-Home Wi-Fi. You received an eero Pro 6E device with your Fiber 1 Gig order and up to two extra eero Pro 6E devices with your Whole-Home Wi-Fi order.
Now that you’ve upgraded to Whole-Home Wi-Fi Plus, the two extra eero Pro 6E devices you received for Whole-Home Wi-Fi must be returned. They will be replaced by the two eero Max 7 devices you’re getting with your upgrade to Whole-Home Wi-Fi Plus.
How do I know which device is my main router?
Typically, your main router is the eero device connected to your wall with an Ethernet cable.
